5-MinuteForex.com Launches 15-Minute Alerts for Forex Traders

(OPENPRESS) March 24, 2009 — 5-MinuteForex.com has launched its second series of real-time forex trade alerts. This version is based on 15-Minute data, rather than 5-Minute data like the first series.

The original 5-Minute alerts are intended for traders with extensive experience and a lot of confidence in their trading skills. The 15-Minute version produces a lot fewer alerts and should be easier to trade for those with less experience.  (www.series34exam.com)

Both versions monitor all 25 tradeable pairs and generates alerts 24 hours a day for the 5 days a week that the forex market is open. Both monitor price action, the 20-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) and the Moving Average Convergence-Divergence (MACD). When that combination signals a trade opportunity 5-MinuteForex sends an email alert to each subscriber. The alert arrives in the subscriber’s inbox a few seconds later.

Each alert includes an entry price, stop-loss, initial profit target, and trailing stop once the initial target has been reached. These are only guidelines however, they are not cast in concrete and certainly not intended to replace the trader’s individual judgment or trading sense.

Until now successful traders have been people who could stay focused on a computer screen for hours on end, taking note of every tick and waiting for a trade opportunity to appear. Most of us can’t do that, and most of us don’t want to do that even if we could. 5-MinuteForex.com watches the screen for you, and lets you know when there is something important going on. It takes the drudgery out of trading, but leaves you all the fun and excitement (and profits).

The man behind 5-MinuteForex.com is Michael W. Knee. His experience in developing automated systems for the finance industry began in New York in the early 1980’s. In 1983, long before there was an Internet, Michael designed a system that allowed for immobilized certificates for municipal bond trading, something most experts thought was impossible at the time. That project was a joint venture of Security Pacific Bank and Depository Trust Company. He has also developed automated systems for Chase and Manufacturer’s Hanover Trust Company, among others.
