SkyBridge Capital Establishes Strategic Partnership With Stonebrook Capital Management, LLC around Alternative Beta Fund

Fund Provides Hedge Fund-Type Returns with Liquidity, Transparency

NEW YORK, March 11 /PRNewswire/ — SkyBridge Capital, which provides strategic capital to new and early-stage hedge funds, and Stonebrook Capital Management, LLC, a leader in the design and implementation of innovative alternative asset solutions for institutional investors, today announced formation of a strategic partnership under which SkyBridge will offer its network of investors access to the Stonebrook Alternative Beta Fund.

The Stonebrook Alternative Beta Fund provides investors with the performance characteristics of diversified hedge fund-of-funds through investment in highly liquid instruments such as stock and bond indices. By doing so, Stonebrook is able to provide such returns with transparency, weekly liquidity and low fees. The Fund was launched by Stonebrook in May 2007. Stonebrook is also making separately managed accounts available.

Stonebrook Capital Management is led by Chief Investment Officer Jerome Abernathy, Ph.D., who is portfolio manager for the fund. Dr. Abernathy is the former Head of Research of Moore Capital Management and co-authored the seminal paper on Alternative Beta and the character of hedge fund returns. Dr. Abernathy received his B.S. degree from Howard University and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
