Brian Black of Lamb Partners Discusses Hedge Funds

This is an interesting video I just found discussing hedge funds in general and specifically whether there is a hedge fund bubble.  This video was from late in 2006 and focuses on Brian Black’s assessment of hedge funds.  With regard to start up hedge funds Mr. Black, the managing director of Lamb Partners, feels that there are too many managers who are going after the same investors.  Mr. Black also talks briefly about credit derivatives in the hedge fund space as well as how hedge funds may or may not affect certain markets like the commodity markets.  No hedge fund video can be complete with a discussion of leverage and without a discussion of a popular hedge fund blow up - in this case Amaranth Investors.
