The hedge fund industry may get a $50B boost via investments from pensions, family funds, and other investors. US pensions ($360B in investible assets) us private banks 216B, European private banks with 177B are the top 3 hedge fund investor segments. Insurance companies, private banks, endowments & foundations may reduce their allocations to hedge funds.
